Dr. Heilman is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and is very gratified to be practicing in Lansing, where he is able to help the people of his home state. He joined Lansing Neurosurgery in 2003 after practicing in the Mount Clemens area and enjoys the challenge and intricacy of osteopathic neurosurgery.

Dr. Heilman and his wife, a pediatrician, have four children. They enjoy spending time together as a family, taking part in many Michigan outdoor activities.
